Stopped by for Sunday lunch and so glad we did. I had pork, my wife had turkey, and we shared a Yorkshire pud. We just had room for the Bakewell tart desert. It was as good as any pub lunch we've had anywhere. Quality ingredients all cooked to perfection, and good size portions. Proper pub atmosphere, and very attentive staff. Not cheap, but we'll worth it.

Ate here a few years ago — tremendous food. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill since. Ordered the Cheeseburger and the Chickenburger — both were low quality with minimal salad. The bun was soggy and cheap. My burger had a cheese slice on it. Chips were advertised as ‘skin on’ chips, but what arrived was nothing more than the equivalent of McCain’s fries. Very disappointing for what used to be a lovely dining experience.

I took seven family members for Christmas lunch yesterday. Brilliant from start to finish, efficient service delivered in a relaxing friendly and interested fashion. Food was great, the seasonal menu was really well done. Reasonable prices. Can’t tel you how pleased we were. Staff are top notch.

What a little gem of a pub! Great pub grub with a lovely atmosphere. We were lucky enough to stumble in on 50% off all food Tuesday! Result! And the guest beers were delicious 😋

This is one of my favourites to go for Sunday lunch to in Cheshire. The vegan Sunday dinner is faultless. There's usually several vegan options, I've enjoyed them all except for the burger, which was very dry and cheap... It was on the 241 burgers day so I don't know if they use a different burger when the offer is on but I can't believe that was their regular burger as my friends meat burger was similar, the only time I've had disappointing food here. The venue is lovely, with a rustic feel, there's a great kids play park outside. You can have a nice leisurely cycle along the canal and arrive almost at the ring o bells door without too much road cycling, so a great day out for kids in Chester. Dogs are welcome outside, I'm not sure about indoors. There's a reasonably sized car park and I've never had trouble getting a space. Vegetarian options: They do a great Sunday roast with a vegan option that's usually a Wellington with roasties, veg and vegan gravy

My husband and I had a great dinner. He loved his roast chicken and my steak was delicious. I especially loved my chips and the vegetables. The service was quick and friendly. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

This was a nice find. I had the chicken which was really good. We both liked our meals. Service was great, friendly and fast. It's not a very busy area so parking was free and pretty easy to find. That's pretty rare for us so we appreciated that. Would definitely go back.

The food was absolutely brilliant, the staff were very pleasant and friendly, the pub itself was very clean and were we sat comfortably. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had, well done Ring O' Bells.

A very typical quaint countryside pub . Not far from the bustling metropolis of Chester 🙂. Certainly will be coming back .. staff very helpful .. decent pub grub at a surprisingly high quality . Sausages , mash and onion gravy was perfect . Keep up the good work guys. (think Joe we spoke on way out)
